When I was a little boy, sunrise at Delimara in southern Malta used to grace the solitary fishing boats. Today there is slightly more traffic, with fish farms and super tankers on their way to the Freeport cascading in the blurred horizon.
Fish farms have helped some fishermen indirectly, who park their boats nearby while big fish like tuna come to eat the food destined for the lucky insiders in the farm. So catching the open sea's fish is easier for fishermen.
And progress and nature gelled to offer a unique vista at sunrise.
