This photo was taken two years ago when I went to Farquhar, which is an outer island of the Seychelles. The crystal clear blue waters were filled with some of the biggest Trevallies (“Karang” in kreol) I had ever seen. These fish swam side by side with the boats in the hope of getting fed, which they did. Just watching them being fed was truly astounding. They aren't apex predators like the great white or barracudas, but the speed, agility, power and aggression they displayed proved that they were a force not to be reckoned with. Even these creatures demanded respect. It was a terrifying yet spectacular sight to witness. That day I realized that the blue world has so much more to offer than mankind has yet to discover.
