The fabulous fireworks anemone can reach up to 30 cm across and lives in a tube up to 1 metre long. It is found in soft mud habitats in Scottish sea lochs where it makes a spectacular sight. Unfortunately, it is very vulnerable to the impacts of fishing activities for scampi and scallops that may be carried out in these areas.
