This image shows a cleaner shrimp hiding inside a tube sponge. A strobe was placed adjacent to the sponge and fired through it, backlighting the shrimp and brining out the fine detail in its body and legs! Coral reefs have the high levels of complexity required to sustain a huge amount of biodiversity, with sponges and corals providing hiding places for thousands of small creatures. You never know what you might find and that's one thing that keeps me coming back!
