Ever resourceful, the people of these remote islands used the 'Lady Elizabeth' as a floating warehouse after she limped into Stanley Harbour in 1913. 23 years later, in a severe storm she broke her moorings and ran aground at Whalebone Cove where she proudly rests today. A majestic sight to behold and one of the many wrecks scattered around these coastlines.
