Staithes is a beautiful little fishing village on the North East coast of Yorkshire. I love this place. When the tide is in there is not much to see except for the view and the pretty harbour, but when the tide goes out it's just another world. The rocks are exposed and small pools of water are trapped in between them. When you look closely you can find all sorts of small urchins, crabs and other marine life. The colours of the different plants that grow beneath the water offer a new perspective on how vulnerable this planet can be but also how beautiful it is. It is up to us ensure it remains this way and help keep the planet safe.
