We can learn so much from the simple maternal instincts of Humpback Whales. This mother and her calf on the Great Barrier Reef were beautiful to watch. For almost an hour the mother kept rising and falling to the surface to push her calf up for air, almost like she was on autopilot. Through sustainable tourism and the correct awareness and education we can learn so much about how beautiful yet fragile our oceans are.
