This picture is of a secondary school at Gaya Island, about 15 kilometres from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah State. It only takes about 8 minutes to get there by boat if the weather is good. I visited the school on the 11th of August, 2015. I was amazed to find such a beautiful school on an island. It looks more like a resort than a school. Yet most of the residents are fishermen with only average income. We can only thank God for the rich natural resources He has given to His creations near and far. People here may not be rich materially, but they are blessed with the beautiful natural scenery of the island and the bountiful marine resources.
