One of the hundred thousand olive ridley turtles that came onto the shore of Rushikulya, Orissa, India. Every year this stretch of beach witnesses the arrival of olive ridley turtles en masse, also known as 'arribada'. more then one hundred thousand turtles nest during this phenomenon which last 4 to 7 days. Turtles continue to visit the beach, sometimes also during the day and nest in a synchronized manner during this mass nesting event.
