The effects of rising sea levels is felt everywhere. In this photo, taken on Hawaii Island in Manus Province, Papua New Guinea, I wanted to show a sea wall built by locals to counter the high tides. The whole island is losing its white sandy beaches and coastlines. We must all play our part in reducing carbon emissions and footprint. Our earth and people depend on it.
