A diver descends onto the wreck of the Lesleen M, a former Japanese freighter that was deliberately scuttled by the local fisheries department in 1986 to create an artificial reef. The Lesleen M is now a hotbed for a thriving coral reef where marine life congregates to breed and feed. It is also the most popular dive site in Saint Lucia and attracts thousands of visitors every year. A great example of a positive human impact in the sea where everybody wins.
