Seen here is a beautiful image of Frigate Bay, St. Kitts. It is everyone's dream to live near a beach, but now the area has become saturated with buildings, condos, villas and hotels. This could be seen as a "concrete jungle" that spoils the natural beauty that the beaches provide. This is very good in providing a boost for the tourism-based economy but we must always remember that there are adverse negative environmental impacts on each new real estate development.

St. Kitts has taken firm steps to preserve and protect its marine environment, establishing marine protected areas and implemented strict governmental requirements to ensure that all its new resort developments are created to conform to current eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
